A perfect roof still fails your house if water dumps at the foundation. We roll seamless aluminum gutters on site, hang them on hidden hangers, and size downspouts for the roof area actually feeding them.
Foothill homes with big snow loads usually want 6" K-style with oversized outlets; standard subdivisions do fine on 5".

Good micro-mesh guards do, especially under cottonwoods and pines. Cheap plastic inserts clog worse than open gutters.

Yes, and it's the right time — new drip edge and gutter apron get detailed together.
